⛵🌎 Das PERFEKTE Schiff für die Weltumsegelung: Rundgang durch die Sirius 35DS an der boot 2020

There are a lot of boats you can go cruising with. The things that cruisers value are probably as varied as the cruisers themselves. Some want a fast boat, some an aft cabin, yet other want an aluminium hull. At the boat show boot 2020 in Düsseldorf I took some time to look at my absolute all-time favourite boat and put my findings together in this video. In my eyes, the Sirius 35DS is the perfect boat for a circumnavigation. The “DS” stands for deck saloon so that probably gives you some idea what I value in a boat: apart from safety and robustness, I want a nice living space. On the Sirius 35DS, life happens in the well-protected cockpit and the deck saloon, which are on the same level and thus well-connected. That means that even in disgusting weather, storms and rain you’ll still love sailing and you won’t have to restrict your sailing routes to the typical trade winds circumnavigation. The owner’s cabin is mid-ship beneath the deck saloon, so you’ll be able to sleep like a baby even in rolly anchorages and at sea. Also, the bilge keel is perfect for drying out and for shallow waters like in the Bahamas. The walk-in engine room is large enough to store all your tools and it even has a small work bench. Because we all know: cruising means repairing your boat in the most beautiful anchorages of the world.
