He dropped out of school, had a brief marriage, and ended up spiraling into a life that caused his family, especially his mother, profound suffering. As the years passed, material success failed to fill his life. In 2023, he felt empty and without purpose, even contemplating death, making an inner "pact with God" in his despair. Unexpectedly, he agreed to attend a Life in the Spirit seminar, which he approached with skepticism. There, his inner self began to stir, especially during a period of adoration, though he still resisted. The decisive moment came with a profound confession that he experienced as a complete liberation, followed by communion after many years. Although he initially denied what had happened, something had already changed. Shortly afterward, reading about the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, he decided to travel there to investigate it. On his first visit, alone and in the early hours of the morning, he experienced a powerful physical and spiritual impact that culminated in healing tears and a clear sense of love, forgiveness, and peace. To ensure it wasn't just his imagination, he returned weeks later and had the exact same experience, confirming for him the reality of his encounter with Christ. From then on, his life took a complete turn: he went from inner turmoil to peace, resumed the daily practice of faith, worship, pilgrimages, and the sacramental life.
