!!!Pitarra y/o Pitarrita!!! 1001 Juegos de mesa antiguos y nuevos - Juegos del mundo

La Pitarra An abstract strategy game for 2 players. Originating in the municipality of Márquez, in the state of Querétaro (Mexico). Its origin is attributed to the indigenous cultures of the region (especially the rural Navajo community). It is said that they have played it for over a thousand years. Over time, the game has been passed down from generation to generation, and this is how its tradition is preserved. To play, you need 24 pieces: 12 yellow for one player and 12 red for the other. The game is played in two phases: one in which the pieces are introduced alternately (drip-feed) by the players. The player who starts the game is chosen by a coin toss. The player with the red pieces starts. The objective of the game is to make sets of three (lines of three pieces, mills). When a set of three is made, one of the opponent's pieces is removed from the board (at the player's discretion). A player wins the game by leaving their opponent with two chips.
