Yi-Kwei Sze sings "Ella giammai m'amò... Dormirò sol" (1953)

The bass-baritone sings Philip's aria from Verdi's "Don Carlos". This is taken from a concert in May of 1953 while on tour in Australasia. It is not definite whether this was in Australia or New Zealand. The Australia concert was with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Joseph Post. The New Zealand performance was with the National Orchestra of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service under the direction of Warwick Braithwaite.
