Beginner Female Motorcycle Rider Goes on First Long Distance Trip on a 150cc… in Africa

I took a gamble and rode my 150cc bike as a solo female rider all the way to the nation's capital of Yaounde in rainy season. I rode on my TVS HLX 150X loaded down with a makeshift "tail bag" and saddle bags tied down by Rok straps and old tire inner tubes. Barreling down the road, I get myself in various squirrely situations, from falling into the highway to setting a collision course with a 70 seater bus by accident. I had only been riding for 1 year and 4 months so I would still consider myself a newer or more beginner rider especially for this type of trip. This was one hectic journey. I think I may have kept my guardian angel busy on this ride. 0:00 Intro 0:37 I don’t know if I really made a great decision 1:30 My jerry-rigged bootleg bag set-up 3:35 I had only been riding a year and 4 months 4:42 I feel a lot less nimble on this bike 6:00 Explaining to a paramilitary soldier American law enforcement practices 7:07 "Don’t spit or you may hit one" 7:37 The camera does not do it justice 7:50 Dealing with power issues while traveling 8:34 Skipping paying the toll 9:01 When you find them you have to snatch them up 10:13 A collision course with a 70 seater bus 10:56 He asked for money for saving my life 11:41 Why I don’t like riding in the pack 12:24 Falling into the highway 13:17 My “solution” for my leather gloves getting wet in the rain 14:20 When in Rome… on the outskirts of the capital
