Exercise: This, That, These and Those

In this exercise on "this", "that", "these", and "those", you will practice the demonstrative adjectives in English. Remember that these adjectives are used to indicate the location of nouns and work like this: This: near, singular. That: far, singular. These: near, plural. Those: far, plural. The sentences we use for this exercise are the following: These apples are fresh. That dog is beautiful. Those buildings are old. This book is red. Those cars are new. These phones are nice. This chair is comfortable. That tree is tall. That cat is playful. These flowers are colorful.
