Paper Zurna
A new wind instrument devised by Linsey Pollak - a double reed instrument made from paper! Called a paper zurna because it is inspired by the Turkish zurna a double reed folk instrument. This instrument uses a reed made with a short piece of plastic drinking straw and an oboe staple. The body of the instrument is made from an A4 sheet of paper. The lowest note is an F (6 finger note gives G, but intonation depends on players control) and it has the potential to overflow.
