HIDDEN DECAY inside BEHRINGER RD-6 analog drum machine (mini tutorial, no talking)

FB:   / bonelessoneacid   It's possible to adjust ‪@behringer‬ RD-6's Open Hihat decay simply by pressing the Function -button while turning the tempo knob in either direction. Clockwise turn shortens the OH decay, while counter-clockwise turn extends the OH decay. This can be done in either Pattern Write or Pattern Play -mode. I welcome this neat little feature, because the Open Hihat, by default, had a bit too much decay to my taste. This video shows a quick and easy way to adjust the long Open Hihat decay. This feature was added in one of RD-6's previous firmware updates already a while ago, but there doesn't seem to be much other videos showing this rather useful, guess you could call it the "hidden" feature in action. The user manual aka "quick start guide" doesn't mention this either as this feature was added later. This neat little feature emulates the same kind of behaviour of the TR-606 hats. Enjoy!
