Texturas em Cerâmica com Argilas Trituradas e Materiais Naturais

In this ceramics class at the Vilart Art School, I share a practical demonstration of creating textures using natural materials, coarse sand, and crushed clays in terracotta and ivory tones. Throughout the class, I construct a cylindrical vase and demonstrate step-by-step a technique for applying textures to the ceramic surface. Engobes are used as a color element and also as a means to integrate and fix the materials that make up the textures. During the demonstration, the students gathered around the table to follow each step of the process, transforming the class into a moment of observation, exchange of experiences, and collective learning. At the end, I share images of the completed piece and the work developed by the student Carmen.
