CALIFORNIA SPINY LOBSTER CATCH and COOK! Hoop Netting Catalina Island

My first time catching California Spiny Lobster with hoop nets off Catalina Island, California! We dropped 5 nets just as the sun was setting with blue fin tuna scraps for bait! We check the nets after about an hour of them being in the water, unfortunately they had nothing! We set the nets shallower and started to catch a few small ones! After about 6 hours on the water, we called it a night and headed back to our campsite. Adam was kind enough to let me take home 4 lobsters from his freezer to compare to our Florida lobster. I grilled them and we had a great family dinner!
