In my latest documentary, I meet home styling consultant and influencer Camilla Larsson, also known as Inasfina, to talk about home styling, interior design, and everything it entails. Camilla works as a home styling consultant and is passionate about interior design and creating harmonious environments. She loves to mix old and new to create personal and dynamic homes. Her style is described as maximalist, which means more of everything—colors, shapes, patterns, light, contrasts, and so on. Home styling is about highlighting a property’s potential through inspiring furnishings and decorations so that potential buyers can see the possibilities of a home. Small changes can make a big difference to the overall impression, which is why people hire a home styling consultant. In the film, Camilla shares that she likes to use as much as possible of what already exists in the home to create personal styling. But she also adds textiles—such as curtains, bedspreads, cushions—and other elements that create a pleasant feeling in the room.
