How to bleed diesel fuel system(sailboat)
If you own a diesel engine you are well aware of the issues that can arise over starting the motor if you ever run out of fuel. My strongest advice, no matter what you do, is not to ever attempt to spray anything down into the air intake. People claim using WD-40 or small amounts of engine starter or other combustible chemicals can help kick off the motor if it is vapor locked, DO NOT DO THIS. Keep priming the system and do it right. If you have a glow plug in your engine then just use that.
