We relished every moment of the ride as we navigated through the scenic routes. Along the way, we had the opportunity to visit a significant historical site linked to the epic Ramayana called Mrugavadhe. This location holds a special place, as it is where Lord Rama famously defeated the demon Maricha, disguised as the Golden Deer. The name "Mrugavadhe" itself derives from this event, with "Mruga" meaning deer and "Vadhe" signifying killing in Kannada. Riding both the KTM Duke 390 and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 added an extra layer of excitement to the journey, especially as we tackled the winding roads of Malnad. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, and the roads, with their smooth surface and captivating scenery, provided the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable riding experience.
