Lighting Network Essentials - Networking Fundamentals
More and more stage lighting fixtures are controllable by Art Net and Streaming ACN than ever before. This connectivity can provide for faster load ins, simpler cabling and faster programming, all you need is to understand a bit of basic networking. We've created a three part series to introduce the essentials of networking with a focus on the elements relevant to stage lighting networks. In this first video we cover the fundamentals of networking in general, covering the layers of a network, basic architecture and the components of a network. In parts two and three we'll cover how to specify and setup a stage lighting network as well as how to troubleshoot common networking issues.
