Kim Gap-yong (89) and Jeong Tae-nim (84), a couple living in the 35-B type structure of the welfare housing, are enjoying their later years together yet separately thanks to the split-room layout. If you go down to the first floor holding onto the safety rail installed throughout the apartment, you will find the health care room, which is the couple's favorite. What does this "favorite" space look like, where reservations are essential? Park Sun-deok (85), who lives in the 35-A type structure on the second floor, has a place she hurries to when lunchtime arrives, even after happily playing with her neighbors. That place is her hometown house, which takes a full 30 minutes to reach. She says she likes living in a safe apartment while not being far from her beloved home. The seniors say that the longer they live, the more enjoyable things happen. What does the apartment that helped them find joy in their later years look like? A city apartment full of communication, Siheung Eun-gye LH Complex 7, Building 702 Siheung, Gyeonggi-do. In this city, which is a new city among new cities, there is a place full of communication that is different from ordinary apartments. It is the elderly welfare housing in Building 702 of Siheung Eun-gye Apartment Complex 7, which is directly connected to the Northern Senior Welfare Center. Senior Lee Yong-shin (80), who lives on the second floor, always finds his days too short. This is because of the phone calls from neighbors asking for help from all over.
