Too much, or not enough? - Africa Burn

My second year at one of the most unusual places I've ever been in South Africa. There's a corner of the Karoo that comes alive once a year, when a small city rises out of the sand for one week, entirely built by volunteers. No companies, no logos, no rules in the way we're used to. Just people, art, music, and the kind of community you don't find anywhere else. This year I was more nervous than last, maybe because I came in more prepared, which sometimes makes it harder to let my thinking go. The first days were a bit of a challenge, living in a group of seventy people isn't easy for me, but after a few days I found my rhythm and slowly settled in. It's hard to put into words what a week in the desert does to you, so this time I'm mostly letting the visuals speak. An adventure that asks a lot of you, and somehow gives even more. Enjoy this little journey. #africaburn #burningman #burnerlife #karoo #southafricavlog #seasonalnomad #slowliving #lifeincapetown #offgrid #nomadiclife #livingabroad #lifestylevlog #adventure #desertlife #communitylife Africa Burn vlog, Africa Burn 2026, Tankwa Karoo, burner experience, South Africa adventure, desert festival, art and community, seasonal nomad, slow living South Africa, nomadic lifestyle, life abroad
