Seriously, what were they thinking? SpongeTruths is Getting Desperate:    • SpongeTruths is Getting Desperate   A recent episode of SpongeBob that I have been thinking about a lot lately is Season 17's Home Away From Home. This episode has SpongeBob, Squidward and Patrick's house come to life and does very little with that concept. The concept itself was already kind of a dud as I don't think living houses is really all that interesting but even with that in mind this episode just did absolutely nothing remarkable. This got me thinking about what it means for a show to "run out of ideas" and if episodes like this are the result of all of the good episode plots being done earlier in the series.
