Malaysia Built an Entire Capital City... So Why Does It Feel EMPTY? 🇲🇾 We took a self led day trip from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya, Malaysia's purpose built administrative capital, using only the metro. What we found was one of the strangest, most beautiful places we've ever visited. In this video: the Seri Wawa Bridge, the stunning Putra Mosque (the "Pink Mosque"), a biryani lunch for under £10, the whitest coffee we've ever seen, a 50p water taxi across the man made lake, the Millennium Monument, and the Iron Mosque (Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque), 70% steel and naturally air conditioned by design. Putrajaya was built between 1995 and 2001 when Malaysia moved its government out of Kuala Lumpur into this brand new city. Today it's one of the most striking and least visited places in the country, and we wanted to know why nobody talks about it.
