Well, here we are folks, the famous "extra good sounding B-52's live bootleg from the 1982 era everyone was searching for". For some odd reasons, I've always thought that the bootleg I was searching was the Boston Orpheum one, but last night, I found this NYC one. And damn, it sounds friggin gorgeous ! The B-52's performed a few "Mesopotamia" songs they never performed after this tour, so this is a kind of a rarity, with an extra good & crispy sound quality for rare songs such as "Loveland", "Cake" and "Nip It In The Bud" ! And they played mostly all of their classics in the "Party Mix" way, with horn and trumpets from Dave Buck and Ralph Carney ! Anyway, a very good concert, maybe my favourite in the B-52's "unofficial live discography" (if I may say so). Sit back, relax and enjoy !
