.410 Winchester PDX1 Gel and Meat Test

The PDX Personal Defense series from Winchester has garnered much attention. But does it work in the .410 cartridge? Much doubt has been cast on the performance of the 410 shell out of short barrels (such as the Taurus Judge or S&W Governor) so we decided to take a closer look at the performance of both 3" 000 buck and the PDX1 round out of a pistol! Careful observers will note we only accounted for 8-9 of the PDX1 BBs when shooting at the pork. After filming ceased we found 3 BB indentions in the denim that bulged towards the meat but there was no penetration. Correct. 3 BBs were deflected by the denim! *This video gives no insight into to the "stopping power" or "safety" of the ammunitions demonstrated. Looking for ammo that's right for you?
