After trekking through nonstop rain, slippery trails, and countless leech encounters, we finally reached the top of Kurinjal Peak. Just when we thought the mist would block the view completely, nature surprised us! For a brief 5–10 minutes, the clouds and mist cleared, revealing breathtaking views of the surrounding Western Ghats. It felt like a reward for enduring the rain and leech attacks throughout the trek. We were incredibly lucky to witness this magical moment before the mist rolled back in. With unforgettable memories and a few extra leech bites, we began our descent back to base camp. The adventure didn't end there—back at our stay, we compared our battle scars, applied bandages to the bite marks, and had a good laugh discussing who got bitten the most. 😅🩹 What started as a challenging monsoon trek turned into one of our most memorable adventures with friends.
