My name is Zahi Shaked and I am a licensed tour guide in Israel. In this video we continue our journey through Tel Aviv, a city where history, culture, and modern innovation meet in a unique way. We begin at Gan Yaakov, part of the Kikar HaTzameret area near Dizengoff Street and Shderot Chen. This is a peaceful green corner in the middle of the city, surrounded by cafes and urban life, reflecting the relaxed but vibrant spirit of Tel Aviv. From here we walk along Ibn Gabirol Street, one of the main arteries of the city. It is full of restaurants, bakeries, and everyday life. This street shows the diversity of Tel Aviv, where different cultures and lifestyles meet in one continuous flow. We continue to Kaplan Street, an important civic and urban axis of the city. Along this route we see government buildings, business centers, and modern offices that reflect the administrative and financial heart of Israel’s largest metropolitan area. One of the highlights of the tour is Sarona. This historic site was originally established in the 19th century by German Templers, a Protestant group from Germany who came to the Holy Land to live in a biblical lifestyle and develop agricultural settlements. They built a well planned colony with stone houses and red tiled roofs, introducing European style architecture and advanced farming methods for their time. During World War Two the Templers were deported by the British authorities, and later the area became a military zone. In recent years Sarona was carefully restored and transformed into a beautiful public space with historic buildings, gardens, restaurants, and cultural life. Today it is one of the most attractive places in Tel Aviv where history and modern lifestyle meet. From Sarona we move to the Azrieli Center, one of the most iconic landmarks in Tel Aviv. Its unique towers represent the modern skyline of the city and its economic strength. Below it lies a large shopping mall, and around it is a busy urban environment full of movement and activity. Nearby is the HaShalom Railway Station, one of the busiest transport hubs in Israel. It connects Tel Aviv with major cities across the country and reflects the role of the city as the central transportation and business hub of Israel. We end the tour in one of Tel Aviv’s high tech districts, often called the Silicon Wadi. This area represents Israel’s global reputation as a center of innovation and technology. Startups, international companies, and research centers are located here, shaping the future of technology and business. After the walk we enjoy a simple coffee and cake, a classic Tel Aviv moment. Cafes in this city are not just places to eat, but spaces of connection, conversation, and relaxation. This journey shows the contrast and harmony of Tel Aviv, from historic Sarona and the Templers to modern skyscrapers and high tech innovation. It is a city that constantly evolves while preserving its unique character. Thank you for joining me on this walk through Tel Aviv. #telaviv #israel #sarona #travel #israelguide
