Ex.NYCDOT/MTA Bus Company & NYC Bus | 1997-99 OBI Orion 05.501 CNG Review

These are the 1997-99 Orion V CNGs, as the most legendary Orion V CNGs and also Orion Vs in all series. Command Bus Company was the first to get these in 1997, second was Queens Surface Corporation with the largest, and finally was Triborough Coach with their dysfunctional maintenance. Until after the Takeover in 2006, these buses were rapidly repainted for the MTA bus Company season. I love the QSC painted Orion V CNGs most of the 3 lines. In 2009, NYCT had then received these at West Farms Depot and Jackie Gleason Depot. This is how in 2011, I rode one of these once and the ride was excelling compared to it's older siblings from Orion Bus Industries in 2007. By 2013, it became uncommon for NYCT to get these transferred and retired from the start. And JFK Depot, was another special depot to get these after Hurricane Sandy. And some to get out of Long Island Bus, when NICE tookover with their great history of their Orion V CNGs.
