Kayak Fishing at Murphy Park (Rockport TX)

The CCA Star Tournament started releasing teaser videos on Facebook on where some Tagged Redfish have been released. I read the comments and some peeps quickly recognized from the background that they indeed released a Red Tagged Fish here at this park so I decided to try my luck here. It has continued to rain which we badly need it which made the water tea color and the mosquitos flourish in this park but once you get on the water I didn't not feel the pain anymore. I only managed to catch a surprise Black Drum off my Slam Shady Diezel Minnow. I came the very next weekend with my cast net to catch bait. I used fingerling mullet to catch a Rat Red and that was my fishing action so far at Murphy Park in Rockport TX off of Copano Bay.
