2017 BUICK LACROSSE: A completely unprofessional review

The 2017 Lacrosse is basically a Cadillac CT6 without the extra wealth. It looks good, it feels good, it drives well. A perfect retirement car. The 3.6-L is the same 3.6-L I've experienced in the STS and the SRX, but it's in a better wrapper this time around. MY MAIN COMPLAINT: needs 2 more inches worth of headroom. There are very few large sedans on the market that are DIRECT competitors for the Hyundai Genesis. The Buick Lacrosse is a DIRECT competitor for the Genesis/G80/HTRAC: available with AWD and nice luxury features such as a HUD, massage seats, Forward/ Side Collision alerts and other technology based safety features. Both the Lacrosse and Genesis are excellent large, retiree cars without the flash and bling of the Continental, CT6 or other $60,000 - $70,000 cars. It has the size of the CT6 inside, but lacks to optional power and sportiness of the Chevy SS. GM isn't serious about their cars because they should have made an AWD version with an optional V8. They are simply offering "just enough" to stay afloat - taking no chances. This car is a perfect geriatric cruiser for Grandma and Grandpa but it's BORING.
