When one fish saves the day! LI Sound kayak fishing

Got out there at sunrise with ‪@FishinAccomplished‬ to see if the sand eel bite was underway in the Long Island Sound. We had mild south winds for the entire morning so it made for a very nice calm day out there on the kayaks. Seems the bottom fishing is off to a slower start this year in the western sound but the striped bass fishing doing quite well, especially in the sound. This trip really taught me that you have to be prepared for any bait and any style of fishing as its always changing out there year to year.
