Today, continuing from the last video, I’d like to talk about science high schools in more depth. In this video, I cover the following topics: ✔️ What actual school life is like after entering a science high school ✔️ How much and how to do advanced learning ✔️ The harsh reality of the GPA grading system ✔️ How to prepare for college admissions: CSAT vs. Comprehensive Student Record-based Admissions ✔️ Stories of students who graduated early or left early ✔️ The importance of a child's self-management and time management I am sharing this content based on my very subjective experiences and what I have learned through consultations with various parents, academy teachers, and schools. Please feel free to listen to it for reference purposes only. (I am not an admissions expert.) There is some overlap with the previous video. Since some of you may be meeting me for the first time in this video, I have included everything. I ask for your understanding. Please feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions! Additionally, I ask that you refrain from speculating on which school your child attends. Actually, that isn't really the important thing, is it? My child gets scolded by me~~ Hahaha. The science high schools in Seoul are essentially either Hansung Science High School or Sejong Science High School. The total enrollment is roughly 140 or 160 students. My child is just one student out of roughly 300. (The reason I kept mentioning "within the top 14!" when talking about Grade 1 is, I told you that because 14 is fewer than 16, so you could get a better sense of it.) I, too, wish for my child to have a healthy and free high school life. He is a promising young talent who works really hard and studies diligently~ Even though he is a total mess and a total troublemaker at home... lol.
