Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art: 60 Years of Korean Contemporary Printmaking 'Do Print! / DO PRINT!' 2018.07.04 - 09.09 Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art, Special Exhibition Gallery The Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art will present the special exhibition "Do Print - 60 Years of Korean Contemporary Printmaking" from July 4 to September 9. Commemorating the 60th anniversary of Korean contemporary printmaking, this exhibition highlights the trends of Korean contemporary printmaking and forecasts its future direction through the representative works of 120 leading artists. Co-hosted by the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art and the Korean Contemporary Printmakers Association, a leading figure in the establishment and spread of printmaking, this exhibition showcases 140 works that demonstrate the status of Korean contemporary printmaking. From woodcuts, aquatints, lithography, serigraphy, and recent experimental techniques that demonstrate the endless expansion of the concept of printmaking, the exhibition offers a glimpse into the long-standing artistic achievements and spirit of artists who have built upon the medium.
