With only 7 buys left this year, I didn't rush this one

Buying one pair of shoes took me months... and that's the point! In this video I walk through the thoughtful shopping process I used to add a colorful shoe to my wardrobe during my low buy year, when I only have a handful of purchases left for all of 2026. Instead of an impulse buy, I thought about what I already own, tried on pieces I'd already decluttered, narrowed down color and silhouette, and made every choice earn its place. This is how my shopping habits have changed, and how intentional shopping decision actually works in practice! I am thinking about wardrobe gaps, styling colorful shoes, and whether a piece will really fit the outfits I already make.
