Regarding this action by Iran, Kuwaiti sources state that the attack was launched suddenly against US ground-based missile launchers. According to reports, the US ATACMS had participated in an operation against Iranian targets in southern Iran the previous night. A single ATACMS missile costs between $1 million and $1.5 million. Various videos concerning the attack on the ATACMS system are circulating across social media platforms; claims suggest that large plumes of smoke and flames were seen rising from at least one location near the US military installation. However, neither US Central Command nor the Kuwaiti military has issued an official statement on the matter so far.
