Ralph Ellis: Why are so many famous biblical characters MISSING from the historical record?

Today I spoke with Ralph Ellis, a historian and author who has spent more than three decades searching for secular similarities and parallels between the disciplines of history and theology. We briefly discussed his background, and then dove into many topics, including: • How the Hebrews were actually the Hyksos, who did exit Egypt and conquer Canaan. • How the Garden of Eden was based on the Egyptian garden of Aten, and the fascinating history of Pharaoh Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti, who were major players in the move toward monotheism, as they worshipped Aten, the sun disc. • The fact that neither the characters of Jesus and Paul are not attested in the historical record, and what that implies regarding the major cover-up of their true identities, including the kingdom of Edessa. • How the Gospels and Acts represent historical events and people, but 40 years later than Christians are taught. • The theological and academic blindness that keeps people from seeing alternatives to what they've been taught, and how the issue is not just what people DON'T know, but what they WON'T know.
