The Abandoned Railway to Fitzroy
Melbourne is littered with abandoned and disused railways, some more obvious than others. One of the shortest was the branch line to Fitzroy Station and Goods Yard. While it no longer operates, it left a legacy that many thousands of people enjoy today. ------------- MORE INFORMATION Fitzroy Goods Yard history website: https://fitzroygoodsyard.wordpress.com/ My website: https://philipmallis.com ------------- I acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which this video was filmed, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people. I pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and their extensive and continuing connection to land, water and country. ------------- SOURCES https://philam.github.io/videonotes/f...
