In addition, the brand has presented its new Rhino battery family, with a clear focus on safety, fast charging, and lifespan, also including its roadmap towards semi-solid and solid-state batteries. According to Chery's announcement, its solid-state batteries have already achieved an energy density of 400 Wh/kg with a CLTC range of 1,500 km, with the goal of reaching 600 Wh/kg and aiming for significantly greater range. This could represent one of the biggest technological leaps in the coming years.
