For example, it's in Britain that sightings of large cats the size of pumas have been reported since ancient times. Even the biographies of King Arthur record his battle with such a cat. By the 20th century, it became clear that these cats were real. Their skeletons and even stuffed specimens began to appear in collectors' collections. And in Scotland, an animal called the Kilkiness cat has been discovered. It's slightly smaller than a lynx. It inhabits the moorlands of the Scottish Highlands. There, they have ample food supplies and sometimes sneak into human homes by stealing poultry. This is well known to local farmers. This is an example of how little-known creatures can lurk in a well-studied country. Fairies begin to be mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles from the 8th-9th centuries. But not the little girls with wings that modern pop culture has promoted, but large creatures with greenish skin who can fly, transform into various animals, and even into attractive women or men. They live in the mountains or underground, trying to avoid human contact. And humans have never been able to establish communication with them. Celtic myths also vividly describe hill people. Not girls with wings. Fairies are humanoid creatures, slightly smaller than humans, who live in swamps, mountains, or underground. Let's return to the Arthurian sagas, which were originally Celtic legends. Arthur is associated with the story of Morgan le Fay—a terrible monster who was either Arthur's concubine or his relative. She lives in the swamps, screaming and howling terribly, frightening people. Incidentally, fairies also appear in France, in myths recorded by Charles Perrault. Remember Cinderella. As early as the Middle Ages, a description of fairies appeared in the book "Of the Secret Alliance of Elves, Fauns, and Fairies" by Robert Kirk, a country priest and member of the British elite at the time. He claimed that elves, fauns, and fairies were the most ancient inhabitants of Britain, having appeared there before humans, surviving to the present day, and sometimes even marrying humans. During the 19th century, we know of over a thousand cases of human encounters with fairies. Most often, these encounters involved children. Finally, in the early 20th century, the story of two young sisters who encountered fairies and managed to photograph them became widely known. Moreover, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle became involved in this story, lending the sisters his camera and thus obtaining photographs of these fairies. Thanks to these photos and descriptions, we have to admit there's something we don't understand. And that's why I'm convinced fairies existed. I have to accept some of the evidence. That is, fairies are seen from time to time. And not just in Britain. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France. What's interesting is something else. "Fairies" or "peiri" is almost a perfect match for the Iranian word "peri." And the Iranian descriptions are similar to those in Europe. We, Europeans, and Iranians share the same roots, preserving ancient Aryan legend...
