The male is metallic dark blue upperparts and intense yellow underparts, the female is olive-green on the top and light yellow at the bottom, also, strong yellow color above her eyes. The chicks display less intense color than the adults. Família Euphonia chlorotica (Fim-Fim, ou Vem-Vem) no comedouro. Seu canto é curto e agudo, aparece no início do vídeo (em 1 s). O macho é preto e amarelo, a fêmea é verde-oliva na parte superior, amarelo claro na parte inferior e tem uma cor amarelo intensa acima dos olhos. Os filhotes apresentam cores menos intensas do que os adultos.
