Viola Davis & McKenna Grace - Troop Zero Interview

Oscar winners, Viola Davis and Allison Janney as well as the young star of the movie, McKenna Grace, are interviewed by DaniElle DeLaite about their new film, Troop Zero, which also stars comedian Jim Gaffigan, Mike Epps, Charlie Shotwell, Milan Ray, Joanna Colòn, Bella Higginbotham and is directed by British, female duo, Bert & Bertie. We talk about how a feel-good, funny and inspiring movie that is suitable for the whole family to watch (and isn’t an animated movie) is a rare thing to find these days so Troop Zero brings us some much needed, lighthearted, fun entertainment whilst also being inspirational. Viola and McKenna tell us how this aspect drew both of them to their roles. McKenna reveals how inspiring it was working with all the talented women in this movie which included the two Oscar-winning actresses; and Viola discusses the importance of the on-screen relationship between Miss Rayleen and Christmas Flint. DaniElle asks the cast what they would like to see on a Golden Record similar to NASA’s 1977 one, referenced in the movie if a new record compilation was to be sent into space in 2020. Would Troop Zero be appropriate for extraterrestrial viewing? The interview also reveals if Allison Janney actually believes in Aliens!
