‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ ~ Sing Along with Ted Neeley & Yvonne Elliman IN PERSON! Castro Theatre SF

Incredible night getting to meet Yvonne Elliman and Ted Neely, hearing their experiences filming the movie and doing the roles theatrically. Yvonne Elliman the original Mary Magdalene on the concept album, of which this is the 50th Anniversary, then she originated the role in the original Broadway cast and then filmed the movie role (not sure of the order of the movie and Broadway). Yvonne is actually a very bubbly and sweet and wonderful person, she hugged us and talked with for a really long time. Got to speak to Ted, what a wonderful guy, so kind and generous with his time and stories (the women were actually crying when he signed their shirts!!) they both signed autographs and were just so gracious. Never forget this.
