¡Captan narcoguarida en Maps! Sicarios armados detienen vehículo de Google Street View en Culiacán

A Google Street View vehicle, which was updating Google Maps in a rural area north of Culiacán, Sinaloa, was intercepted by a group of armed men during its route. According to images later published on the platform, the men stopped the vehicle to inspect it and verify the reason for its presence there. After identifying it as a car used to capture panoramic photographs for Google Maps, they allowed it to continue its journey without incident. The scene was recorded by the Street View cameras themselves and was later added to the map service. The images show several individuals equipped with long guns, tactical vests, and helmets on a road in the community of Los Algodones, in the town of Mojolo. The incident went viral on social media because it inadvertently documented an unusual encounter captured by the automated photography system that Google uses to update its virtual tours around the world.
