Implicit Bias: How it Impacts Disabled People & Businesses
The American Bar Association’s Commission on Disability Rights published a guide on implicit bias against disabled people which revealed that implicit biases against people with disabilities are so strong that one study found that “76 percent of respondents showed an implicit preference for people without disabilities.” Implicit bias against disabled people negatively impacts both disabled people and businesses.
