This engine is a 1.5L Turbo 3 cylinder with Nissans Variable Compression technology. It puts out a stronger 201HP and 225 lb-ft of torque and also increased the MPG to 33MPG combined. This is paired to an all new XTronic transmission (CVT). This new generation aims to cure the issues of old with a twin oil pump, and 17% wider gear ratios. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This new engine also brings along new driving profiles which is a result of the Variable compression technology. It can shift from dynamic performance and efficiency thanks to a high pressure fuel injection system, textures valve lifters, low prerssure die cast cylinder head and more. The VC part uses a multilink arm that can shift the crankshaft to different positions to change the compressions ratio. Highs: +Smooth, compliant ride and well appointed cabin for 2024 +VC Turbo is fascinating technology and we retuned over 33MPG on multiple runs.
