Ultimate Caribbean Downwinder Wingfoiling: Playa Grande to Cabarete with Liquid Blue Cabarete

Charles Osterlund here and I want to begin with the fact that these stunts should not be replicated as they entail potential dangers that could prove fatal. With that being said... I do hope you enjoyed the video! This video is of a long over due challenge I proposed last year which was winging or kiteboarding from Playa Grande to Cabarete. Finally we decided to do it and we recorded it. We calculated it would take between 2.5-3 hours to accomplished and we did it from shore to shore in just under 3 hours.... Super stoked it worked out as it did and looking forward actually to doing this once or twice a year with friends! Next time a larger swell and even more wind would make it that much more epic! This adds to our records of downwinders. Our last downwinder was the longest downwinder ever recorded in the Dominican Republic Kiteboarding.
