After being deported from his country, a man named Mehran Karimi Nasseri is forced to find a new place to live. However, after leaving his country and traveling to another country, Mehran loses the documents proving his refugee status at the airport and is unable to leave. Mehran's life is explored by director Steven Spielberg, and the film we all know as The Terminal emerges. While The Terminal doesn't actually focus on Mehran's life, it's clear where Spielberg drew his inspiration from.
