SpectroMagic! (HD, 2006) | Magic Kingdom | Walt Disney World

SpectroMagic! was first introduced for Walt Disney World's 20th Anniversary in 1991 (replacing the Main Street Electrical Parade), and ran until mid-1999. It was replaced by the Main Street Electrical Parade (essentially) for the Millennial Celebration, and returned in mid-2001. It ran until 2010, at which time it was retired and replaced by Disney's Electrical Parade. When I toured the Parade Barn in 2011, the parade unit was still there. It was confirmed by Disney to have been destroyed or recycled in 2013. (Disney reuses a lot of parade floats.) This was taped in 2006, the first year I started shooting HD. ( I have a better version of the parade in 480i, and it's not so much better that I'm going to post two versions like I did for Fantasmic, lol.) It, like Disney's Electrical Parade, didn't get recorded again because I was mostly in Magic Kingdom those days during the Christmas parties... SpectroMagic!
