CPL Fred Adams recalls his experiences during and surrounding his service in D Company (Weapons), 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division. He served in the National Guard before the war and remained in the armed forces through the end of World War II. The interview was conducted on July 23rd, 2020 at the Toad Valley Golf Course in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
