PRIMERA SEMANA EN FINLANDIA 🇫🇮: MIDSUMMER, SAUNA Y "LA NOCHE 🌞"

I finally arrived in Finland 🇫🇮 and in my first week I got to experience one of the craziest celebrations here: Midsummer (Juhannus). In this video, I'll show you that it's not a myth that the sun doesn't set; I took Rico for a walk at 1:30 AM and it felt like daylight! 🌞 We also went shopping and I almost fainted at the price of Valentina hot sauce and cherry tomatoes (spoiler alert: a jar costs more than 20 Euros! 💸). The best part was the celebration in a small town with Swedish influence. They raised a giant fertility pole, sang the national anthem (reading the lyrics from a slip of paper so I wouldn't forget them, haha), and we ended up at Aleksi's family's summer house eating salmon and experiencing the REAL Finnish sauna. 🧖‍♂️ Is it true they get hit by birch branches? Did I go into the freezing water? Am I the best at handling a boat or did I just go around in circles? 🚤 Join me on this adventure through Northern Europe! In this video you'll see: 00:00 Hello from Finland! (Plans for this week) 00:53 The night that isn't night 🌞 03:26 Mexican food in Finnish supermarkets: Unbelievable prices! 💸 05:18 The little robots that deliver groceries 🤖 05:45 The Finnish OXXO: The trusted little store 07:29 Heading towards Midsummer: Will it be like the horror movie? 😱 08:49 Eating salmon at the summer house 09:27 The Midsummer ceremony: Raising the fertility stick 12:03 The sauna and Finnish "sadism" 🧖‍♂️ 14:10 My debut as a boat captain (Passenger Princess?) 🚤 Don't forget to subscribe and leave a comment: Would you pay 5 euros for Takis in Finland? 🧐 #ZurielInFinland #Midsummer #Juhannus #TravelVlog #LifeInFinland #MexicoAbroad #FinnishSauna #MidnightSun
