After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University and gaining experience as a teacher, he became a curator at the Okayama Prefectural Museum. In 2003, he planned and was in charge of the special exhibition on yokai of Okayama Prefecture, "An Invitation to the Other World ~Ghosts Surely Exist, The Afterlife Surely Exists~". Currently, he works as a curator at the "Nagashima Aiseien National Sanatorium Historical Museum" and also serves as a director of the "Okayama Folklore Society."
