Deep in the forests north of Berlin lie the remains of Carinhall, the former estate of Hermann Göring. Between 1933 and 1945, the estate served as his prestigious country residence. In April 1945, Göring ordered Carinhall blown up before the Red Army reached the site to prevent it from falling into their hands. In this video, we visit the remains of Carinhall and show what survives of the once vast complex. We explore the grounds, shed light on the history of the place, and place its significance in historical context. This video serves solely for historical documentation and education.
