Como eliminar oscilação do Motor CHT - Regulando à lenta! Parafuso Mistura!

Before adjusting the screw... The adjustment only works if everything else is in order. If there is a false air intake, misfire, or dirty carburetor, the mixture screw won't fix it alone. Check first: • Engine warm — normal operating temperature. • Spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor in good condition. • Correct ignition timing. • No cracked or disconnected hoses. • Carburetor base without false air intake. • Canister and breather correctly connected. • Clean carburetor, especially idle jet and galleries. Adjusting the mixture screw — step by step: 1. Warm up the engine Let the CHT reach normal operating temperature. Do not adjust with a cold engine. 2. Adjust an initial idle speed Use the idle screw to keep the engine running without stalling, around 850 to 950 rpm (or close to your model's specification). 3. Carefully close the mixture screw. • Turn the mixture screw inward (clockwise). • Tighten lightly—without overtightening. • Then return about 2 turns to the starting point. 4. Find the point of highest rotation: 1. Slowly turn the mixture screw outward (counter-clockwise). 2. Wait 2 to 3 seconds for each small movement. 3. Observe the engine speed. 4. When the speed increases and becomes smoother, continue in small steps. 5. When it starts to drop again, return a little. 6. The correct point is where the engine has the highest and most stable rotation. 5. Correct the final idle: After finding the best mixture point, return the idle screw and adjust the rotation to the normal value. Generally, the CHT engine runs well when the idle is stable, without rising and falling, around 850–950 rpm. If you adjust the carburetor and the engine continues to fluctuate, the problem may lie elsewhere. The most common problems with the CHT carburetor: • False air intake at the carburetor base. • Cracked vacuum hose. • Partially clogged idle jet. • Float misadjusted. • Float bowl needle stuck. • Weak cables, spark plugs, or coil. • Advanced or retarded ignition timing. • Warped carburetor base. Practical adjustment to start: Safe starting point Mixture screw: 2 turns open Idle: 850–950 rpm Then: find the highest RPM point Finally: correct the idle again Expected result When the mixture is at the right point, the CHT engine will: • Smooth idle • No oscillation • No stalling when stopped • Faster acceleration response • Less gasoline smell • More balanced fuel consumption Important tip for the Weber 460: On the CHT Weber 460, if the mixture screw has little response, suspect the idle jet. Even a small amount of dirt can cause the engine to oscillate, and then you adjust the screw without being able to stabilize it. The adjustment that best solves the problem in the CHT engine: 1. Engine warm 2. Mixture screw open 2 turns 3. Slowly rotate until you find the highest RPM 4. Back off slightly if you overshoot 5. Adjust the idle speed to 850–950 rpm This is the adjustment that usually eliminates idle fluctuation in the carbureted CHT engine. ----------------------------------- Weber 460 Carburetor: Weber 460 carburetor maintenance, Weber 460 adjustment, Weber 460 carburetor cleaning, Weber 460 jets, Weber 460 float adjustment, Weber 460 idle speed, Weber 460 air-fuel mixture, Weber 460 carburetor overhaul, Weber 460 repair kit, Weber 460 disassembly, Weber 460 tuning, Weber 460 carburetor operation, CHT Engine: CHT engine maintenance, CHT 1.0 engine, CHT 1.6 engine, CHT valve adjustment, CHT engine timing, CHT engine timing, CHT engine torque, CHT workshop manual, common CHT engine defects, complete engine overhaul CHT, Ignition System: CHT ignition system, CHT ignition timing, CHT distributor, ignition advance, CHT ignition coil, CHT ignition module, CHT spark plugs, CHT spark plug wires, distributor rotor and cap, timing adjustment with a timing light, fault diagnosis, Cooling System: CHT cooling system, coolant change, cooling system bleeding, CHT thermostat valve, CHT water pump, CHT radiator, CHT electric fan, CHT temperature sensor, CHT overheating, cooling system preventive maintenance, radiator cleaning, radiator additive, Combinations and Testing on the CHT Engine: Weber 460 step-by-step, Weber 460 adjustment Complete maintenance guide for CHT carbureted engines, CHT service guide, CHT ignition system explained, CHT cooling system complete, Weber 460 carburetor common defects, how to adjust a Weber 460 carburetor, CHT engine preventive maintenance, CHT engine workshop manual.
