In this order named Rajesh Gupta vs. Government of UP, the Supreme Court found that a false FIR was registered against the petitioner. In view of this, the Supreme Court ordered the quashing of the FIR and also issued an order to pay a fine of Rs 25 lakh. However, Allahabad High Court had refused relief in this case.
