The problem may not be that you're not doing enough. Very often, it's the exact opposite—you do things for your face that seem sensible, fashionable, and "pro-skin," but in reality, they gradually weaken the protective barrier, exacerbate inflammation, and can accelerate the appearance of wrinkles. In this video, I show you 10 such mistakes. This isn't just another "buy these three cosmetics and everything will change" guide. It's going to be specific, at times uncomfortable, but very practical. As an aesthetic medicine doctor, I regularly see patients in my office who truly care for their skin—using SPF, active ingredients, treatments, watching beauty content, reading labels—yet their skin is congested, reactive, and increasingly difficult to manage. And very often, the cause lies in seemingly good habits. We'll discuss, among other things, why using SPF daily isn't enough if you can't effectively remove it in the evening. We'll also discuss how rapid weight loss can affect not only your figure but also the appearance of your face. About the cosmetic "more" that doesn't necessarily mean "better," and why skin overloaded with retinoids, acids, peels, and new products doesn't become more beautiful—only more stressed. We'll also touch on treatments and aesthetic medicine. Hyaluronic acid can produce beautiful, natural results, but only when used sensitively and with an understanding of facial anatomy. In the video, I explain why too many fillers can age even a young face, why "more" doesn't mean "prettier," and why the most difficult yet most valuable treatment philosophy is: minimal intervention, maximum natural results. We'll also discuss peels, homemade masks, "natural" cosmetics, drinking water that doesn't magically hydrate skin like the internet promises, and the constant surprise of surprising your face with new products. If your bathroom shelf resembles a laboratory, and every new TikTok trend makes you want to immediately buy another serum, this video may be especially relevant to you. Finally, I touch on a topic that probably concerns everyone interested in skincare: recommendations from influencers and beauty authorities. Someone's skin online isn't your skin. Just because a cosmetic looks phenomenal under a studio lamp doesn't mean it will solve your problem. It's worth asking, analyzing, and making decisions calmly, instead of building your skincare routine around impulses, trends, and the latest "must-haves." This episode is for you if: — you feel like your skin is becoming increasingly reactive, despite taking great care of it, — you struggle with dryness, redness, micro-comedones, or a feeling of overload, — you use a lot of active cosmetics and aren't sure if you're overdoing it, — you're interested in conscious aesthetic medicine and the natural effects of treatments, — you want to understand which "good advice" from the internet really makes sense and which ones are harmful, — you want your face to look fresh, healthy, and harmonious, not just "more pampering." In skincare, it's easy to confuse care with overzealousness. We can buy increasingly better cosmetics, try new treatments, and read more and more about beauty, all the while drifting away from what our skin truly needs: stability, consistency, well-chosen foundations, and common sense. That's exactly what this video is about. If you want to choose cosmetics consciously, understand ingredients, avoid overpaying for marketing promises, and create your own skincare routine tailored to your skin's needs, pick up my book "Understanding Cosmetics." You'll find specific, practical tips, ready-made skincare plans, and 140 recommended products in various price ranges. The link is below. Watch the video until the end and see which of these 10 things apply to you. You might find that the biggest improvement in your skin will come not from adding another product or treatment, but from eliminating a few habits that seem beneficial to you today. #skincare #aestheticmedicine #wrinkles #skin #face #treatments #cosmetics #beauty #consciouscare #doctormonika 00:00-02:00 Problem 1 02:01-03:29 Problem 2 03:30-04:59 Problem 3 05:00-06:44 Problem 4 06:45-08:11 Problem 5 08:12-09:59 Problem 6 10:00-10:49 Problem 7 10:50-12:21 Problem 8 12:22-13:49 Problem 9 13:50-16:36 Problem 10
